I cannot praise this product enough. Not only is this product great for dry skin; it aids in restfulness and decreased stress.
Blue tansy is thought to relieve tension. Blue tansy and German chamomile both contain an organic compound called azulene.
Azulene is used in skincare products and some cosmetics as it is regarded as a useful ingredient for its vivid blue color and healing properties. Extracted from chamomile, azulene is known to reduce inflammation in the skin tissue. This happens when the immune system releases chemicals to combat infections or to protect the skin from being attacked by foreign molecules. The chemicals which are found in azulene inhibit the actions of the immune system, resulting in a reduction in redness and swelling. These anti-inflammatory properties found in azulene, have led to its inclusion in formulas which treat acne. It will help to alleviate the redness from the blemishes, allowing the complexion to clear up more quickly and will de-congest the area. Azulene is also used in skin serums, creams, lotions and moisturizers which have been developed to ease stressed and damaged skin. Azulene is also an antioxidant. This means it has the ability to shield and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. As much as we wish it would, azulene cannot prevent the skin from ageing. It can, however, help to minimize the symptoms associated with mature skin and reduce the likelihood that fine lines and wrinkles will develop prematurely. By neutralizing free radicals, azulene can also help prevent the cellular damage that causes skin to discolor sun exposure.

Calendula, geranium, and Irish sea moss are just a few of the other ingredients that soothe the skin. geranium can promote cell regeneration, calendula is a great skin soother, and irish sea moss is a power ingredient that aids is reviving skin and making it appear fresh.
